not sure on these

these two at first looked like phylite and yellow calcite rough pieces I got out of that collection mentioned in my last post but am not certain. The phylite one has that "silvery" and almost an iridescent sheen to it but the sheen seems finer than other phylite specimens I have, streak is grey and hardness is around a 3ish, magnet does not attract. What I though was calcite may not be, hardness between 3-4, NO reaction to hcl (dilute,cold) white streak. It has a mica like sparkle to it when rotated around in the light...so maybe some kind of mica schist, or marble? Thx.

That first pic IMO is in the beginning stages of shale metamorphosing to slate (which would then metamorphose to phyllite). The slate probably doesn't have enough CaCO to react with acid so probably mostly a clay sediment (but could be something like volcanic ash) to shale then slate then phyllite. The second one is indeed marble, metamorphosed yellow calcite.
