Okay, I've been collecting these types of rocks for a couple of years now.
I don't know what they are.
Maybe chalcopyrite, iron pyrite or??
These are completely natural, in other words, I haven't treated them.
I cannot tell you where they are from.. I don't know.
This rock was brought into this area.
I'd say where, but knowing how many Michigander's are present in these forums.. NOPE! :headbang:

I'd say its easier to see if a knife can scratch it. Pyrite won't be scratched by a knife.
