Just wondering what this is!
This is my first post ever to get something Id-ed.
I have been looking for and collecting rocks for a while now and find/have found many crystals.
Finally at the point where I want to know what I have and what I'm looking for.
Thanks!

If that is a uv light you might have opal or chalcedony both fluoresce green like that.

Opal is not known anywhere on the north coast of Oregon. There are quite a few species of agate and chalcedony found in the area of Ecola State Park that will fluoresce. There are a few rock clubs and several lapidary shops from Lincoln City to Astoria that may be able to help you out in specific identification.

Time for more coffee.
