Interesting new find

It's not very big specimen but its pretty cool, I found it out at my fire agate spot, actually just a hill over where there's purple and blue Chalcedony, I'm guessing those Schiller effects are caused by iron oxide layers, anyone ever seen something like it? 20190323_103307~2.jpg 20190323_103159~2.jpg 20190323_103122~2.jpg 20190323_102959~2.jpg

I grinded in a little bit on this one to see the Schiller effects.

Thanks, I've never seen these Schiller effects before, I found these between where I dig up fire agates and collect purple and blue Chalcedony, it's like a mixture of the two with pinkish maroon Schiller effects. I think it's a new find, at least it is for me.

I used small pointy bits with a dremel attachment, I only had 120grit bits on hand but you should use 300grit to 1200grit on these specimens.
