Lake Superior Agate ?? with gold??

Found this while prospecting black sand, looks like agate with a little gold mixed in, am I right about that??

Pictures aren't too clear, but I have never heard of gold in agate. Looks like it would be an interesting stone to slice and polish.

To me your item in question looks more like a granite, therefore it would have a better chance of having some gold in it. If it is gold.

It does have granite its like a agate and granite mixed?, the other side looks like granite this side looks like Superior agate... but I could be wrong im not very good with rocks....

Gold can show up in the strangest places however I dont see any there. I do see an agate, banding, with larger compacted clumps of quartz crystals. I reckon it'd polish up nicely. As to Lake Superior if thats where you found it.... there are a number of posts in this forum if you search them out.
