Need help identifying

I'm curious as to what kind of rock this is. Got it from an estate sale and the folks said all the rocks they were giving away they've collected from all over. Also it is heavier then the average rock but it's not magnetized.

What I see is quartz, white and smokey, and the darker material which remindes me of limonite all mixed together. There maybe hematite in it as well. All I can say is it came from a heavily mineralized source. Many rock collectors simply pick up things they like, so if you like it great.

Thanks I looked up hematite and I also looked at the stone with a magnifier and there's definitely hematite in it but more along the lines of red hematite. And thanks for the help I appreciate it!
