Opal source?

Anyone know the source of this opal?
Purple, red, green flashes.
Dry, it's very dark but super fine sandstone texture.

My first thought as well, I haven't seen many opals though.

Looks like boulder opal, seen simular material from the Peacock opal mine in Nevada I believe. Nice colors.
