So i been finding quiet a few of these things in various shapes and colors mostly are whitish clear, pink and yellow. Most seem to be shaped like a flat almond or broken up. Does anyone know what they are and if they would be something good for a beginner to try his hand at tumbling??

They are water worn quartz pebbles. Extremely common in some parts of the country, and yes, they will tumble well and polish. Color probably won't change any.

Oh so that is what it’s called! I always find them around my area, its really common here. I also see them being used in some people’s fish tanks.
