Help ID black rock, possible meteorite?

Any help IDing this odd black stone? possible meteorite? It does not stick to a magnet. Mostly smoothed edges

While clearing out some of the brush and rocks from the woods behind our house I found this black stone which is very odd for our region. We're in central WI and our land is surrounded with red granite quarries and our property is FULL of massive granite rocks. Our property is very old woods and very remote. No construction fill has been brought into this part of our land.

I do not see any visual characteristics of meteorites.

I can not make an accurate assessment of your mental capabilities, nor that of the rock. I can state with some accuracy that if you are male, and you are married to a female, that you are nearly always in the way.

Back to meteorites. If you think you may have an interest in meteorites, pick up a few handbooks. Whenever I head to the outback of Oregon, Nevada, or Idaho, I always have a dozen or so handbooks on different things in the truck. Most come in handy every trip.
