Great pics as usual, Nahabit. Looks like there is a lot of history there. A great day with a great looking lady...sounds perfect to me...Thanks for the pics.
VERY INTERESTING---most americans have little idea how many russians died fighting to "turn back" the nazi invasion of russia ---russia was illprepared for war in the mid 1930's thats why stalin "signed" the peace deal with germany and later it spilt poland with germany in 1939---stalin knew that a "war" with germany was coming sooner or later and was buying time to get ready-- hitler "attacked" russia hoping to catch her "asleep" and nearly did it but the russian people thru their massive sacrafice thru them back at stalingrad--- there was very real "hate" between the german and russian forces in WW2 and as berlin was falling many high level nazi's fled to the americans to "surrender" hoping to live a few more days---they knew because of their actions in russia that the russians would kill them slowly if they got their hands on them---Ivan
Those are great photo's.... I love that church in the first pictures..... I have seen some pictures before of the memorials, but I can say that Russia make good monuments. They really appreciated what the people did in those days.
Your tour guide is also very beautiful
Very nice pictures Mike. I should build me one of those T-18 tanks! I could have a blast with that... litterally! Can you translate the inscription on the "common grave" picture?
