lol, I take things for granted sometimes. Like assuming "we" already knew it was Peter the Great. However, it's not a copy of the Faberge Peter the Great egg that Nicolas II presented to his wife Alexandra in 1903.

In my opinion, this egg shows close to the same quality of the one I posted in reply number 8 and I believe would be valued similarly. Though it won't command as much without the box and it's not quite as elaborate as the one I posted. If it were mine and I was interested in selling it, I would still contact a high end auction house such as Sotheby's, get their opinion and go from there. If it's worthy, you will hear back from them.
