BrettCo124: "Love reading this. It just further clarifies to me that I don’t need to move out of my safari (I never questioned it). The shop that sold me mine years ago told me it would be the last machine I’ll ever need besides an underwater machine. I think he was right."

I've heard this more than I can count from former Etrac users.

Although I'm dying to upgrade, because I don't know any better, I will always own and love my Safari.

It is a coin/silver monster. So clear and concise on those signals. Only reason to upgrade to Etrac is its ability to identify junk targets so I can eliminate unnecessary digging. But I've got to tell you... the Safari is where I'm cutting my teeth in this hobby and I wouldn't trade the experience the Safari has given me for identifying tone signals.

My finds are only getting better with each hunt because I am getting so much in sync with my dearly beloved Safari.

Oh well... the jury still isn't out yet on this move.

Check this out... this weekend's finds. A key dated 1923 S Standing Liberty Quarter...'41 merc, '57 rosie and dozen wheats.

There's no complaining here!!
