electric mower: anything but motor to scrap?

I got an old Craftsman 12Amp mower. The owner told me that its switch assembly is broken, but since I already have a gas mower and a replacement switch is probably going to cost more than the whole mower is worth, I decided to scrap it. Is there anything more valuable in it than iron other than the motor?

I doubt it. I am not sure if the batteries on those things are worth anything or not. i couldn't find any outlet on the internet.

Been doing OK selling to a local mower shop. He wants wheels, cables etc. to resell. Usually pops $10 - $25 apiece.
