    BRASS(???)

    ok, im just wondering...on average appliances (toasters, lamps, blenders etc) the prongs on the plug are usually either silver colored, or gold/brass colored. it seems older appliances are the ones that have the gold or brass colored prongs. i was just wondering if the gold/brass colored ones are in fact brass? or are they some other type of metal? thanks in advance...keep it up and hh!
