    1st scrap run with price brake down

    I went to schlezinger metals with a load of iron, steel, aluminum and a little brass. I was happy to get $100.15 cash money They had a very cool/helpfull staff as this was my first scrap run.

    Here's the price break down
    Al cans 5 lb .65 per lb $3.25,
    mixed aluminum 46lbs .60 per lb $27.60
    Yellow brass 13 lbs 1.70 per lb $22.10

    non steel totals $52.95

    misc steel 320 lbs price 295 NT $47.20

    scrap total $100.15

    That sure is a good price you got for your misc steel, what part of the country is that in and what was in your misc steel load.

    I went to a scrap place in Columbus Ohio. My misc steel was some cast iron, 2 wheeled golf carts (3), pieces parts of a tread mill, old folding chairs and misc junk
