Have you guys seen what they're doing in Alaska?
Apparently there's 20k miles of old copper communication cables 2.5 to 5 inches thick laying on the bottom of the sea floor just in Alaska alone. This company Mexus Gold has the salvage rights and has just started salvaging it and apparently this cable stretches all the way down the west coast to San Diego. Kinda interesting reading about it and seems there's a ton of money to be made. Check out the video

I bet with the price of Copper now they make a whole lot of money off of this . I have to wonder how much of this copper line is all over the world ? There has to be billions of dollars of the stuff .
Few things I love to do is , Metal Detecting for anything of the past!
Making Detectors better ! Tuning and finding ways to upgrade Detector hardware , To make them work the Best that is possable !

Wow!
I hadn't seen that, or heard of it, but it doesn't surprise me one bit. It is kind of a "why didn't I think of that?" deal.
I wonder if the trans-Atlantic cable still stretches the ocean floor. Pretty amazing how they laid that cable, way back when.
I'd love to know what ten feet of that cable is worth.

No need stripping it out at sea when they're pulling 10 miles of cable a day and have very limited space on their barge. It would be very hard trying to sort the outer plastic coat and then the 3 metals which are lead, nickel and copper all from the cable. They're thinking the nickle will be worth a small fortune alone.

Never heard of the guy until this week! I was rather enjoying the banter as well. I have never lived in a trailer park but I think dingdong suffers from negative reflection projection. He doesn't like what he sees in himself so he lashes out at people by believing they are in the same situation as he. Don't even get me started on his overuse of trailer park colon.
