    XMAS LIGHTS?

    I was just checking scrap metal prices an they had a price for xmas lights.. what are they talking about? the strings you put on house an tree or actual bulbs an how is the figure..I meanis it per pound or what??

    Its the strings, no place I know of buys bulbs only. The price you see is most likely per pound. Most scrap prices are per pound, except for iron. It is usually per ton.

    that is what I thought,but at 32 cents a pound who would waste there time?

    Me!! I have plenty of room and just let little things like that pile up till its worth taking in.

    Cut off bulbs and it gose as #2 ins by me $1.10 lb!

    I got atleast a 100lbs of those sitting in a tub in the garage . Thats $32 bucks . Also home depo or lowes was giving away coupon or something for old strands when you bought a new led strand . So If the prices are still true now my be worth collecting some .

    #2 insulated wire by me is at .85 lb. Xmas lights with bulbs on would only get you .15 - .20 lb. Cut them off!
