    Computer scrap

Has anyone found an easy way to recover gold from boards and chips? I've been saving them for some time now trying to find a way to recover the gold. If not, where's a good place to sell them as is?

Thanks for the info. I wish there was a thrifty bits around here and the scrapyards don't seem to care about computer stuff. I've got about 60 lbs of boards from 70's mainframes among others. I'll have to search for someplace here in CO that buys it.

    Re: Computer scrap

70 pounds of boards is a good start, but will not pay much. Maybe $300.00 or so after shipping cost. You are going to be way better off selling your boards to someone who is already set up to refine. Here is a good place to sell your e-scrap.

    www.boardsort.com

There is a price list posted on the site.

    Tell them silversaddle1 sent you.
