How much do you scrap?

Just curious, how much do you scrap? Do you take in 2 or 3 loads a year or several a week? Do you scrap as a main source of income? The reason I ask is that I scrap in spurts (sometimes monhs apart). It all depends on the projects I have and what type of debris is generated. However I see the same people at the different scrap yards I frequent. Some of these folks must scrap for a living as I see them drag in 1 or 2 loads a day. Anyway, any of you guys who scrap regularly, do you handle it as a business (i.e. report income, track mileage and costs incurred, etc.)? I don't have the volume of material yet but was thinking if I increase the volume, I should consider making it a business. Do any of you do this?

I don't get much scrap, but I do scrap every week.

I simply have no place to store scrap.

I scrap as much as I can, usually maybe three or four loads of steel a year, as I only get what I get permission to take, sometimes its quote a bit, somwtimes not very much, I work in the oilfield and these days alot of the well pumpers scrap everything themselves
