selling on ebay

I have a question. It may sound stupid to some but its a question that I have been wondering about for awhile. While out scraping awhile back I cameacross a bunch of fired off shotgun shells so I picked them all up some brass some steel. Now my question is would a person be able to sell something like that on ebay or more importantly would it even be legal to send them through the mail. Just Wondering tried a site kinda like craigs list but no one was interested I guess.

Since it is spent shells then I doubt if there would be a problem with it. Interest may be a different story though. You may be able to sell the brass bottom ones to a scrap yard as dirty brass. I doubt if you would see any interest in the ones with the steel bottoms.
