    Stripped vs. Insulated Copper

    Never done tested this myself, but always wondered. How much stripped copper wire is in 1 lb of insulated wire, like romex. Is it worth actually stripping it down or just hauling in whole?

    In my un-scientific test it goes about 50/50 on all but the real thin computer wire. I never strip TV cable just too much work.
