Ran across a similar discussion, just wonder if anyone here has an opinion.

For instance, let's look at the guy from A&E. How much tolerance was there from the left?

Now, take a look at Martin Bashear. How much tolerance was there from the right?

Next, how compatible was what was said by each as far as the amount of vitriol involved.

In my experience, conservatives have been MUCH MORE TOLERANT than liberals ... which probably accounts for the liberals' emboldened attacks at mostly innocent statements.

One statement said: "you won't inherit the kingdom of GOD" (well, who would want to be there if they weren't welcome?)

The other statement expressed a desire for someone to "defecate in the mouth" of a certain woman just because they don't like her (remember, only the right is supposed to hate women, and thus the left's "war on women" spiel).

What say you?

"Right " says me but hopefully somewhere along the way and with people on the right standing up for our rights to not be threaded on we can be on more of an even keel.Thats my hope at least.

I say it's the person themselves that determines that!

Not talking about individuals. Talking about the POLITICAL BLOCKS, liberal block, conservative block. Which is MORE TOLERANT?

Hard telling. Doesn't "tolerate" mean you notice a difference in something other than what you believe should be but you put up with it anyway? I just heard on tv that some state (I think it was a entire state) no longer recognizes the term "fisherman". I guess it's too gender specific so, from now on, the term "fisher" shall be used. Wouldn't the person that accepted the term "fisherman" be considered more tolerant than the person that wants the term changed to "fisher"? Like hurricanes. They used to all have female names until some woman group got upset and had it changed to where every other one was a male name. Then blacks got involved and said none had "minority" names. Can't wait for Hispanics and Asians to get upset about the whole thing. I consider myself more right than left politically and I could care less about what they name the next storm. My granddaughter is a great fisherman so I'd rather spend time with her fishing than worrying about petty bs. :) Merry Christmas all!!
