    Minelab X-Terra 50 & Garrett Pro Pointer

    Headphones won't work on my Minelab xterra 50

    Just got a Minelab xterra 50 unit and plugged in my basic nimax model ne-320 (with mono and stereo switch) headphones and nothing? The headphones worked great with my BH and I did plug in some in ear phones in the minelab and they worked so what gives? Are Minelab units touchy with headphones? I am using an adapter with them, could that matter? Any help would be appreciated.

    Most headphones have two switches one for stereo/mono and one for compatibility issues I had a pare that didn't work on my Exera 70 but worked fine on the Garrett and whites. two of the internal wires have to be switched for minelab machines.
