I've been using a Sunray DX-1 probe on my MXT since about 2004. I love it and can't imagine using any other pinpointer. Until now. Lately it started giving an overload signal when I switch it on. Sometimes it would stop when I turn the detector off than on again. But lately it just overloads whenever I turn it on.
Anyone on here know how to repair these things or know where I can get repairs done? Any advise would be appreciated!

If it's overloading because of the coil in the probe being bad there is no repair as the coils are potted in the tube. It would need to be replaced. If it's in the cable, switch or connectors you may be in luck.
