Excalibur volume pot

Hey all, I need to replace the volume pot on an Excalibur 800.

Does anyone have part numbers for replacement?

I would probably want to replace all pots since I will be inside.

Any help would be appreciated.

Couple things, I might suggest just having Kellyco replace the one so it will be original. Or Just replace the one yourself that is bad and keep a few extras around unless your hard on them. They are fairly tuff but I always say don't mess with it unless it's broken.

This replacement is at your own risk
Changing your pot will void manufacturer warranty
You need to be ESD grounded (mat, wrist, solder), before to proceed the change.
Pot can be removed without dismantling the boards, with the use of a thin 5/16 wrench and after solder all the pot
connections to the board.

Bourns, serie 39,
13 mm body with or without rot switch
¼-28 UNF bushing thread
Shaft diameter, 3.18mm
Shaft length, 12.70mm from the body
Body height, 7.01 mm
Slotted or flatted shaft
Connector type: pin 0.25 mm dia
Three issues to get around:
- Shaft length and drive to the original knob shaft, you need to built a coupler part.
Coupler can be around 5.5 mm outer dia (close to the original knob shaft dia) with a lateral screw to secure the assembly,
the top of the coupler will be slotted as per the original part, the pot shaft should be flatted (if not available in stock)
- Body 1 mm higher, should not be an issue, as clearance exists on the bottom of the inner PMMA case inner diameter.
Do not remove the original plastic washer (0.83mm), designed in purpose to avoid underneath board short cut on the
board vias (short between pot body and via)

Price/Availability
Between 10 to 15 $ each, 10k pot are currently available with slotted shaft, 100 k with flatted shaft, so the slotted shaft
will need to be flatten to allow a good grip between the pot shaft and the coupler.
100k flatted ref is: 39SB-1RB-104, in stock
10k notched ref is: 39SA-1RB-103, in stock
10k notched without switch ref: 39SA-1NB-103, no stock, mini qty to order 500
