sounds like an advertising move by a mod? not that I'm complaining, good to know considering minelabs previous track record with repairs.

Support has long been a deciding factor in my purchases. This holds true in electronic based items. I have held off any consideration of Minelab products (except their pinpointer) for a long time. Now that they have moved from the septic area to what is being reported as first class service, I believe that my next new detector may end with a X. Jason, good news here-thanks for the report.

I sure hope that Minelab provided their employees of the service center with snow tires. UPS and postal should have theirs on already.
