    UK law on shipwreck salvage

    Hi
    Can anyone give any information or advise on the law regarding shipwreck salvage in the UK, or how to protect a wreck on a dive site you have found ? What would happen to any valuable artifacts you may find and are you free to sell or keep them as you see fit ? I'm thinking of something a 100 years old or more.
