pre 1780's anchor

I found and recovered an 11x6.5 foot anchor weighing just under 1000lbs. From my research i have figured out that it is PRE-1780'S. I have it in a fresh water bath to leech the salt out and am in the process of preserving it. In June of next year the preservation process will be completed and i will put it up for sale. If you are interested in purchasing it please let me know. I can email pictures to anyone that is seriously interested.

what material is this anchor made of ? If ferroust metal what method of preservation have you started, electrochemical or electrolytic reduction ?
