The "Tank" is back at our Jupiter Shipwreck Site!

We're :hello: :hello: :hello: Back

Our summer recovery season has just begun!
May 7th and we started off with a bang! :icon_thumright:

The day started out shaking the bugs out of the boat from her sitting for a while....
We anchored in close where the sand was skinny - then blew holes due easterly until we got
to the first ledge and rock pile!

Tom came up and said, "Wow, you just uncovered a big piece of timber!" :smileinbox: :smileinbox:

I bounced down and it was the biggest piece of encrusted wood I have ever seen at the site!
We buoyed it as our starting point. {See Photo} and tomorrow we
will further investigate.

Note the circle around the buoy in the last photo. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
No secrets at the Jupiter Shipwreck Site.... :icon_thumright:

Oh man...this certainly could be a dramatic change of events! Congrats on the find! Sounds like you're nearer to finding the main pile.

Yes, I am pumped...
This doesn't look like a piling :clock:
It is structured.... by that I mean straight but it really isn't round like a piling.
We are going to take a much harder look at it tomorrow.
We can use a hand if anyone close by may be available on short notice! :icon_scratch:

Re: The "Tank" is back at our Jupiter Shipwreck Site!

We try and get out year round depending on if the equipment
is all together.... the weather permitting, there is fuel in the Tank's tanks
and we aren't getting in each others space or way.

We have been at it since July 13th of 1987. A lot of sub contractors
have come and gone and worked under our JWI Federal Admiralty Arrest.
But make no mistake about it. The Jupiter Wreck belongs to JWI. Inc.
and its stockholders.

Not until they move those Big Rocks out of the way. Hey, again, think you could sell those to landscapers. Just tell them to bring a big truck and some strong chains, and your divers will hook it up and they can just drive them things right out..or could they ?

Hey Pirate Diver...... :toothy1: :toothy1:

On Columbus Day you ought to consider the

There are some interesting "treasures" to behold there!!! :toothy2: :toothy2:

Hey Tom,

While every one is worried finding out if you guys found any silver coins I am a bit concern of Tom’s stance on pic #2 in the first post. Dude you have to admit that you look kind of weird in that pic.

Luis, if you'll read the title of the pic, it says "grab butt." I think our friend has gone off the deep end (pun intended)

Re: The "Tank" is back at our Jupiter Shipwreck Site!

It is a "first day of the season" ritual aboard the Tank apparently. I didn't ask. I never question the captain's orders. :help:
