    Need help to identify this object found in the Black sea 4m depth!

    Hi list,

    I try also here, maybe there is someone who can help me to identify this object? During a Black sea dive at Constanta - Romania i found this (for me it seems like a bullet)? It is 11 cm in diameter it has 3 holes on the same line about 1 cm in diameter and a 4th hole a little bit lower from were the 3 holes are. Inside i have the feeling that there is gun powder? I'm interested what it can be, what type of canon used this (if it is a bullet) and what ships was equipped with this, the age, etc. Any information is more than welcome.

    I'd definately say it is a cannon projectile, but other than that? Monty

    Could have been an experiment on pressure of projectiles ....testing done at Black Sea....
