maria galante -ubilla's private vessel- the "english prize" taken by portobello?

in the book --"the funnel of gold" by peterson -- it speaks of how valle (the spanish rep) know rhat gov. hamilton of jamacia was in partnership with the "english silver raiders" because of the fact that a when "illegal" trading ship english was taken off portobello earlier (echevez was taking "illegal trading" vessels off of portobello while awaiting treasure with his patache type vessels*) the english capt had said that they were "legally" trading and that gov. hamilton was a 25% owner of the vessel ---

there is no record of a "english prize" vessel sailing out of havana with echeverz *--matter of fact echeverz was told that he could not "strip" his treasure fleet vessels of crew for his 2 personal "prize" vessels (the french prize "el ciervo"--and the dutch prize "san miguel" aka --"la holandesa") that he took back into portobello and bought at the "royal" auction in portobello , echeverz was forced to hire crew members for his prize vessels -- I believe that upon taking her, to avoid having paying for her and having to crew her as well in portobello *****( after paying for and crewing 2 "new" vessels as well as paying all the expenses of his fleet for the long time of the voyage=== his money had to be getting a bit tight) so upon capture at sea - he had her sent with a small crew directly to to havana where she was later bought by ubilla who had lost several small vessels ina storm while at anchor in mexico and was in dire need of a small type vessel -- and that this vessel became ubillas "private" vessel
