yes...that's what it turned out to be.. it's about 30 lbs... what's the best way to clean it up...any idea how to determine how old it is?

To start with, KEEP it in water or it will turn to dust! You will have to use electrolysis to remove the salt from it. No telling on age? We have a few here on the farm from the early 1900's we still use to cook peanuts in. they have been making these for several hundred years.
