    No marking, but it could belong to the Pope's ambassador in Marseilles Mgr Ferrari who was traveling on board the ship to celebrate the Pope's Pius IX Jubilee, in 1869...

    Congratulations, Nice work. I would certainly classify the find as Treasure. Can't wait to hear the back round information on your salvage.
