I see now that Fathom Explorations is working WITH the Alabama Historical Comission. So how does Fathom pay their expenses? Do they get to keep any of the artifacts or do they all go to the state? MichaelB do you have any info about the company? I can't find anything on the web.

These guys have done an excellent job of keeping everything quiet. I got a call 18 months ago that told me the location of the find but I never could find out what the find was. I will be interested in finding out the details of how he got the location as I have been over that location MANY times without a hint of something.

The guys I search with had all guessed many ships but none of us had even heard of this one. Well done on their part. It is going to be at a local restaraunt for a couple of days. I am going to try and swing by tomorrow to look at the bell.
