WELL GUYS, NO GOLD TODAY.
FOUND WHAT I BELIEVE IS A MUSKETBALL AND SEVERAL ENCRUSTED OBJECTS THAT I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS IN THEM, BUT THEY MADE THE DETECTOR GO OFF.
STILL A GREAT DAY. I WILL TRY AGAIN SOON.
STAY TUNED IN FOR THE NEXT EPISODE.

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
Do let us know what you find when you un-encrust, you never know what might be under a layer of calcium carbonate.
You were out for a good while today, I tried to catch a pic with you or Scotty in the water, but I never saw it. Dang boss kept making me WORK for a living She's so inconsiderate
See you in a few!

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
Any chance of seeing the coins?? I would like to see the pictures of them. Very awesome though non the less!

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
I HAVE TRIED TAKING PICTURES OF THE COINS AND NOT BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER I DO NOT SEEM TO GET A VERY GOOD PICTURE. ALSO THE COINS BEFORE CLEANING ARE NOT VERY PHOTOGENIC. I AM MUCH PROUDER OF MY UNDERWATER PICTURE SKILLS.
HERE IS ONE OF EACH.

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
Seahunter, if you want to get a closeup of the coins, look for the flower icon on your digital camera (most have this). It allows for better closeups
Best to you,
Darren

Yes, the flower icon is the macro lens for better closeups.

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
Are those some older photos from your collection or do you need to set the date on the camera as well?

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
YES THE WATER IS FROM THE PALM BEACH AREA, MOST LIKELY AT A SLACK TIDE AFTER BLOWING AND UNDER THE BOAT REDUCING THE LIGHT. WHEN THE CURRENT IS MOVING RAPIDLY THE WATER WILL CLEAR UP TO PERFECT VISIBILITY IN MINUTES. I HAVE JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A SEALIFE UNDERWATER CAMERA AND AS IS EVIDENCED BY THE DATES ON THE PICTURES THAT I TOOK IN THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS I DO NOT YET HAVE A PROPER COMMAND OF THE CAMERA. I BELIEVE I HAVE FIXED THE DATE. WE WILL FIND OUT ON MY NEXT PICTURES. I WILL LOOK FOR THE FLOWER ICON AND SEE IF I CAN GET A BETTER PICTURE, HOWEVER EVEN IF I GET A BETTER PICTURE THERE IS NOT A LOT TO SEE BEFORE THEY ARE CLEANED.
CONSERVATOR - HELP !!!!!!!

HELLO KIRKCO
GOT YOUR EMAILS. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU ARE COMING. RIGHT NOW YOU MAY WANT TO WATCH THE WEATHER. IT IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE BETTER FOR SINKING SHIPS THAN SALVAGING THEM THIS WEEK.

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
I noticed that SH, I was kinda glad I wasn't leaving Friday now. Dad is doing better now, moving from ICU to a regular room possibly tomorrow. I fear I may have missed the season though, how much time do you think we have left?

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE SEASON. FEBRUARY AND MARCH WERE ALMOST FLAT EVERY DAY WHEN I WAS HAVING MY BLOWERS BUILT. IT IS VERY DIFFERENT HERE THAN IN FT PIERCE - VERO BEACH.

Re: WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE
I hope you're right too PegLeg! Maybe getting there right after the storm would be GOOD timing. I'm trying to exercise a little patience...but getting out there this season and experiencing it really needs to happen. I put in my transfer request to move to our facility just north of Miami, we'll see how that goes 8)
