This is a fabulous collection. I think it may be possible to obtain copies of these maps....hope this link works.. If not, google Jacksonville Fl public library ANSBACHER MAP COLLECTION.
These maps are displayed on the walls of the upper story library, and worth a visit---if ever in Jacksonville. Good Luck !!!

Thanks Fla Gal . I will have to enlarge some of these maps but they will suit . I am quite often in Jacksonville so I will do as you said . Cornelius

I have a copy of a 1839 military map of Florida which was made for the one of the Seminole Indian Wars. It covers from St Marks in the panhandle to Cape Sable in the south. It's about 25 by 36 inches so it is easy to work with.
Send me a mailing address and I'll see if I can get you a copy printed.
