    Guns and Galleons

To illuminate all the things people talk about, here are pictures from Fort Ticondergoa, New York of their cannon collection and of two ships, one a reproduction of the Mayflower, and one a reproduction of a Manila galleon.

    Enjoy.

    Re: Guns and Galleons

It's family vacations throughout New York when I was a kid to places like that, that lit the fire in my heart for history. I grew up about 30 minutes from "Old Fort Niagara" and loved going there all the times we’d get visitors. It’s funny in a way to see these pictures because like Niagara Falls I never took any pictures because I could just go look at it.

The first time I took my wife up there she was taking pictures like crazy and I was like, “what are you doing? She replied, “It’s Niagara Falls, it’s so beautiful and I’ve only heard about them most of my life.” I paused for a moment before it dawned on me.

Really nice pictures and now they mean even more to me. One, because of treasure hunting and two because I can’t “just go” see them!
    Psalm 107:23-24
They that go down into the sea in ships; and make working in many waters.
They saw the works of the Lord; and his marvels in the depth. (And they saw the works of the Lord; and his marvelous deeds in the depths of the sea.)

    Slick...
but where are the pixs of the boats
Since 1987 our Jupiter Wreck has continued to yield coins but the question, "Where's the rest of the Ship?" has remained unanswered...  There are 2 layers of shipwreck scatter and we are equipping the "Enterprise" to excavate the primary treasure layer.  Join with us this year!

Lake Bomoseen is located real close to Ft. Ticonderoga.Guns and Galleons-big-gun.jpg

As a child we had a summer home on lake Bomoseen, spent a lot of time there.
