Good luck to Odyssey in the case of the Victory. This time they followed the proper procedures and will get their proper reward. They should have done the same with the Mercedes.

They are back on site today. They need this site considering the Supreme Court Ruling.

The HMS Victory would be a good discussion. Currently, Odyssey is probably just looking over the site, as the agreement with the British Government has not been finaled, at least to the public.
I have doubts that what Odyssey and the non-profit group, Maritime Heritage Foundation have submitted will be approved as it was submitted, but we shall soon see what has been negotiated.

Odyssey originally gave the approximate location as latitude 49°42.5' N and longitude 3°33.3' W back in 2009.
In January of this year, they were planning to raise the wreck remains and give them to the Maritime Heritage Foundation. I assume that is still the plan.

I don't recall Odyssey ever releasing the location. The Admiralty arrest only said the following.

The Defendant Site appears to be a cannon wreck of the Colonial period lying within
the English Channel at a depth of less than 200 meters between 25 and 40 miles from the
Coast of the United Kingdom, beyond the territorial waters or contiguous zone of any
sovereign nation.
