    Does anybody know of any record of an English ship that had wrecked in Philippines waters?

    The [i]Trevitore[i] was wrecked on Sept. 4, 1678 near Mindanao Is. The [i]Griffon[i] was lost on Jan.21, 1761 near Soloo. And the [i]Royal Captain[i] was wrecked in 1773 in the Sulu Sea.

    Griffin and Royal Captain discovered and salvaged.
    1803. « ANSTHRUTHER », at a reef north east of Salinsigan island
    1803. « THORNHILL », English ship of the same fleet as the « Ansthruther », was totally lost on the reef which is situated straight West of the Mangsi Islands.
    1805. "Resolution" San Sebastian playa
    1839. “MARQUIS OF CANDEM” near Mindanao
    1658. "WILLIAM" Manilla
    1763. "SOUTH SEA CASTLE" at Ternate
    1763. "EARL TEMPLE" Palawan
    1764. "FALMOUTH" Cataduanes
    1806. "TELLICHERY" Apo Shoal
    1816. "COUNTESS OF LONDON" Palawan
    1822. "REGENT" LUBAN
    1806. "VULCAN" Luconia
    And so on...

    Do you know if any of these wrecks (aside from the Griffin and Royal Captain) been discovered or salvaged?
