The 15" coil with 10 metre cable...

How well or will it detect gold rings?

I've been looking for a towable coil to drag behind me while diving just behind the surf.

chlsbrns I can answer that. I bought the 15" coil and made a PVC sled filled with cement to tow it behind my boat. It works great! It will detect single coins and will detect large objects up to 8' deep. I tested it and it works.

By the way, you can call them and request a shorter cable. It will also cost less. I have a 8 meter cable and it is long enough for shallow water searching.

Thanks for the info!

I emailed them about an hour ago asking if I could get a shorter cable.
