New to Treasurenet
Hi Everyone - first of all congrats on a great site!! Am a UK based airline pilot who spends a fair amount of time in the Miami area during summer months. Just wondered if anyone has spare space on a boat and could show me the basics of TH'ing underwater next year. Certified diver, degree in history and enjoy beer! Keep up the good work , Mike.

That history degree makes you more qualified than the rest of us I'm a little concerned that you might drink ALL of the beer, but provided you bring some of your own, we can probably find a spot for you. Seriously, we have a great get together at Jupiter planned, and several more opportunities that shall remain unsaid for now. Finding your way onto a boat as a diver is not terribly difficult, so long as you plan to be a law abiding pirate, and don't hog all of the wenches.

Re: New to Treasurenet
Hey Mike,
Glad you found us, bro! Do a search for the "Live update from Jupiter" thread that ScubaFinder mentioned and jump in with us this summer when you're in Miami. The drive is short, the view beautiful and the friends are plenty. Oh yeah, there's some treasure, too
Godspeed!

He's a PILOT, not a PIRATE !!
Seriously, welcome Mike. Plenty of Brits on this Forum, mostly exiles.

Jason see the possibilities - instead of using liftbags on those ww2 plane of yours - strap him in the cockpit and let him fly the wing shot birds out ;-)

Re: New to Treasurenet
We'd love to have you, crab - as long as your id refelects your underwater abilities and not your personality I'm nowhere near being a vegan, so I'd love to try out your cooking, bro! Stay in touch and join us.
Godspeed!

Re: New to Treasurenet
Ruh roh, sis. If you've read the Jupiter threads, you know you're going to have a mean hurdle to jump when it comes to Tim's cooking on the Rio Bravo (salvage boat). However, if we're on the Seahunter then there's no competition I'm aware of Welcome aboard, sis!

Re: New to Treasurenet
Crab, there is a nice big grill on the forward deck of the Bravo. Tim is a good cook, but if I know him he'd be happy to step aside for a day and eat some good food that he didn't have to cook. There is a no vegan policy on the Bravo also, so you bring the steaks and I'll bring the ribs. I think a little steak and crab sounds good together...that came out wrong...or did it? :P
