Last year I saw a Klein Side Scan on e-bay for about $7,000. I blew the photo up to get the model number.
Then contacted Klein about support being available for it. The reply was to the effect it was only useful as a boat anchor. No more parts and the transducer section had a problem of being delaminated. (I thought the unit looked old by all the rust on it.) Wrote the middleman seller with the info from Klein but he never took it off E-Bay nor responded to my e-mail. I think i would trust Boats and Harbor's ads a little more.
