help with Treasure coast beac find.

I could use a bit of help with this.
I'll just say..my first thought was pewter chess piece but that seems like a stretch considering where I found it.
I've found 17th and 18th century Spanish artifacts at this location ...but have also found 19th century British as well as a very few early 20th century items so anything is possible.
Any help would be great...it appears to be silver but the conductivity reading is low.
I think I remember some cobs reading quite low in the past.
Flag staff tip??

That's a tough one to figure just by the pics. It could be a number of things, but I think it almost looks like part of handle. Maybe to part of a bell?
