I don't think there are any over there...I seem to recall reading about one inside Ponce De Leon Bay, but that's all I know of. Obviously, you should check with the Florida Board of Historical Resources rather than relying on replies to this forum...the State of Florida is the only one who knows for sure.

Some of it is off limits, or permits have been denied because of a preserve area south of Naples if that helps answer your question.

You can get a written list of current contracts in the exploration, dig and identify, and salvage status from the Florida Bureau of Archeological Research in Tallahasse, Florida. The FBAR sent me a copy last year since I have a current contract off Hutchinson Island in Stuart. They have an accessible website under the state of Florida website. Hope this helps.
