Dont be beating on the ball with a sledge hammer like that cannon ball collector did up in NC and blew himself up.Put it in a old cannon and fire it!

I found a cannon ball. I will take a picture of it later (after my batteries recharge) and post it so someone can identify it.

I found it in the sand next to a coral outcrop. My buddy thinks the is a connection to Henry Morgan. Ed, It is about the same size as yours. I will post a pic as soon as I find it.

My daughter found one of those "cannonballs" last summer while on a walk with her son. She called me thinking she found a bomb like the ones in the cartoons. The thing is she found it along with some discarded military equipment and some spent aircraft JATO bottles. When she showed those to me we had to get the EOD boys involve and they put the C-4 to them and destroyed them.
