Shipwreck Coin!?! Do I Have Something Worthwhile ? Please Help.

I know for a fact it is set in a 14k solid yellow gold bezel mount.

Any additional information and I would be grateful.. For I have gotten no help elsewhere.
Any help further identifying , and any estimations on value are my two priorities. That is if it at all worth the time.

To the very left on the shield side of the coin, you can see an M with an O above it. OM = Mexico mint
Below that, you see the letter P. That's the assayer.

You can then use Google to find a listing for the initials of assayers from the Mexico mint and get a good indication of when this was minted and where this likely came from.

As far as worthwhile, that's subjective and I'm not sure what you mean by that. You are not a new millionaire. It's a fairly common coin and I agree with the replies in your other messages on this subject.
