Here is a 20 minute film investigating the cast-iron guns in a rebuilt fort in NY state: Video tells about 18th century cannons research
MY feelings are that although a few of those cannon could have come from HMS Looe, a number seem older- 1680s- and at least one may be a Swedish gun. Now the guns are in a very poor condition, and camera angles can be distorting. But my gut reaction is that these cannons may have come from more than one Florida wreck. You guys may well know more about their origins...
and amused they went to so much trouble and expense, but didn't appear to ask a cannon expert....
