Old man,Pete had a larger design with the last survey with a different boat and a 100ft. cable to the sled and very slow speed to keep the sled on top of sand area.Much better results with that setup.
You would think those trailers would have auto brake lockup as our camper does. We found out the hard way, this month at a family reunion down on the east coast. Tried to leave but the camper brakes were locked good. Turned out a cable has a plug that gets pulled if there happens to be a break away. Once the plug is put back the brakes unlock.
The trailer wasn't the problem. LOL
