Brother Jonathan

Does anyone know anything about who the players are in the Deep Sea Research company that found the Brother Jonathan wreck and its millions in gold coins (most of which the State of California kept)? I've found plenty of articles on most every aspect of the story save its characters.

Three "Brother Jonathan" names come to mind: Harvey Harrington, David Slater and Don Knight; though I don't believe Knight was involved in any aspect of the lawsuits that followed the discovery and recovery.
