I found some high and dry and some shallow water wrecks using the noaa map and some google maps and being new at this figured i would like to see touch and feel my first shipwreck. so i went to beach plum island beach first , i have to admit i was very excited to see it up close . In this same area i have found pieces of pottery...plates and glass. If anyone is interested in visiting a few sites with me i have been reading about cobb island . incredible history about the island and the fact that a small spanish ship {la merced } wrecked very near . I would like to visit 2 other ships in the chesapeake in the near future. if anyone is interested in my neck of the woods send me a message !
